Commissioner's Community Action Fund Year 2 Allocation for Quarter 4

Local communities and voluntary organisations across Avon and Somerset have received over £55,000 as part of Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens Community Action Fund (CCAF).

Twenty projects across Avon and Somerset were allocated funding for Quarter 4 of the second year of the fund.

The Commissioner's Community Action Fund of £200,000 was launched in May 2013 and has entered its second year enabling communities to continue to apply for grants of up to £5000.

Funding for the Motus Dance Academy project which will engage with young people in the area of Twerton with the aim of reducing ASB.

A grant to support the work of the Taunton Street Pastors to be part of the Halcon One Team.

Knowle West Health Association

 Grant to support the Charity Challenge project which works with young people to set goals, complete a challenge and raise money for charity.
