  • Somerset and Avon Rape and Sexual Assault Service (SARSAS) - a specialist helpline, 1-1 emotional support work and a fortnightly group for survivors of childhood sexual abuse
  • Work to support the Integrated Victim Strategy implementation

Bath and North East Somerset 

The funding will support multiple projects across Bath and North East Somerset.  Projects, services and providers supported by this funding include:

  •  Project 28 - enabling young people aged under 18 to address their substance misuse issues and lead healthier lives, by providing open access and targeted outreach services
  • Compass - managed within the Youth Offending Service to reduce the risk of offending by young people aged between 8-17 years

  • LinkAge - Intergenerational Restorative Justice Project
  • Bristol Mediation - Road Sharing: A Restorative Approach
  • IMPACT - Offender Mental Health Practitioner
  • Youth Moves - support for young people in South Bristol at risk of engaging in anti-social behaviour (ASB)
  • Keep Safe Programme - support for young people with learning disabilities who have been harmed sexually and their parents/carers
  • Stay S@fe Net Programme - work with young people who are victims of internet harmful sexual behaviour and those who perpetrate this behaviour
  • Bright Outlook Street Conflict/Conditioning Cautioning Programme - working with young people at risk of becoming involved in street conflict
  • Bristol Hate Crime Services: Service Users Strategic Group - feedback group to evaluate services users experiences of the hate crime services in Bristol

  • Bristol YOT Partnership Specialist Substance Misuse Service - provision of substance use assessments to all children and young people who require substance use interventions
  • Bristol YOT Restorative Justice Service - provisions of Restorative Justice service to victims of young people who are subject to YOT interventions

The funding will support multiple projects across South Gloucestershire.  Projects, services and providers supported by this funding include:

  • Victim Support - to provide an independent ASB support service to lower level ASB victims
  • Towards Freedom - programmes of group work to support women who have experienced or are experiencing domestic abuse in Kingswood and Patchway
  • Survive - Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) Service, specialising in victims from black minority ethnic (BME) backgrounds 
  • Kinergy - provision of counselling services across Avon and Somerset for men and women who have been sexually abused or raped

Youth Offending Team (YOT)

South Gloucestershire 

The funding will be used for a Substance Misuse Service to support young people involved in offending and ASB related to substance misuse.  The funding will support an in-house service with the aim of stopping/reducing reoffending.  £30,220.00 

 

Somerset

The funding will support multiple projects across Somerset.  Projects, services and providers supported by this funding include:

  • "One Project" - multi-agency locally based interviews using the 'One Team' model and approach, districts adopting this model include South Somerset, Sedgemoor and Mendip
  • SARSAS - a specialist helpline, 1-1 emotional support work and a fortnightly group for survivors of childhood sexual abuse
  • CAPOS (Children Affected by Parental Offending) Project - support for children and young people affected by parental offending
£177,719.00 

Youth Offending Team (YOT)

Somerset and Targeted Youth Support Service 

The funding will be used for a domestic violence and abuse service, specifically supporting young people subject to teenage relationship abuse.  The service will also work with young people, particularly those affected by early trauma from domestic abuse and thereby at risk of behaving in anti-social or criminal ways or vulnerable to victimisation.

North Somerset

North Somerset 

The funding will support multiple projects across North Somerset. Projects, services and providers supported by this funding include:

  • Chapter 1 - provision of domestic abuse support services across North Somerset
  • SARSAS - a specialist helpline, 1-1 emotional support work and specialist counselling. 
  • North Somerset Services - including Impact Offender Management (IOM), Bournville/Oldmixon One Project co-ordination, review of hate crime services and work looking at violent crime related to night-time economy
£69,128.00 

Youth Offending Team (YOT) 

North Somerset 

The funding will be used for a Substance Advice Service to deliver drug and youth intervention work with young people at risk of and/or within the criminal justice system.  The funding is divided betweent two projects, the first is Substance Advice Service and the second is a Youth Inclusion Support Project.  £28,203.00 

 

Avon and Somerset

Drug and Alcohol Arrest Referral Service  Service supporting individuals at the point of arrest whose offending is linked to substance or alcohol misuse.   £730,000.00 
Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC)  Specialist medical and forensic services and support for victims of sexual assault.  £225,995.00
