Victim Services

On the 1 April 2019, new contracts for a range of services commissioned by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) commenced.

The OPCC receives funding from the Ministry of Justice to commission services for victims of crime, with the aim of helping them to cope, and then recover and ensuring that this support is available is a key objective in the PCC’s Police and Crime Plan.

A number of processes led to the development of a Commissioning Plan which set out which services the OPCC wanted to put in place.
