Commissioner's Community Action Fund Year 5 Allocation for Quarter 4


CCAF and PCT logos

Local communities and voluntary organisations across Avon and Somerset have received over £31,000 as part of Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens Community Action Fund (CCAF).

Fifteen projects across Avon and Somerset were allocated funding for Quarter 4 of the fifth year of the fund.

The Commissioner's Community Action Fund of £150,000 continues to enable communities to apply for grants of up to £3,000.

Elim Connect Centre

Funding to increase capacity and expand the services available for vulnerable people, such as the homeless and isolated. Services include free counselling and support or advice.

Funding to support the nightly outreach programme to work with vulnerable and hidden people within the Bristol City Centre.

Funding to enable the chairty to support more individuals who need debt advice and relief.

Funding to create employability and development opportunities for women and young people from BME communities. Funds specifically to help the project of raising awareness of women's rights and domestic abuse.



Womankind Bristol Women's Therapy Centre

Funding to extend the hours of a helpline for women who may be victims of, or are survivors of domestic or sexual abuse.

Funding to install CCTV to deter and capture anti-social behaviour and crime in the area.

Our Time

Funding to begin creche facilities within a support group for women with mental health challenges, following domestic or sexual abuse.
