Commissioner's Community Action Fund Year 6 Allocation for Quarter 1

Local communities and voluntary organisations across Avon and Somerset have received over £20,000 as part of Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens Community Action Fund (CCAF).

Ten projects across Avon and Somerset were allocated funding for Quarter 1 of the sixth year of the fund.

The Commissioner's Community Action Fund of £150,000 continues to enable communities to apply for grants of up to £3,000.

Funding to go towards the street harassment action plan in Bristol.

Funding to provide outreach workers for the young people in the area.

Funding to enable the staff to complete training courses to improve services the cafe provides.

Easton and Lawrence Hill Neighbourhood Management

Funding to run neighbourhood social interactions, which is part of the regeneration programme in Lawrence Hill.

Funding to expand the mini police programme, with the aim of getting more 9-11 year olds involved in policing and becoming more confident leaders.
