Policing performance report to be discussed in next Performance and Accountability Board

PCC Mark Shelford will hold his next performance and Accountability Board with Chief Constable Sarah Crew on Tuesday 9 May at 2pm.

The discussion will be broadcast live for 30 minutes on Facebook Live:

The broadcast will then be uploaded to the PCC’s website.

In the upcoming meeting, the PCC will ask questions relating to the quarterly performance report, which looks at Avon and Somerset Police’s performance against the national policing priorities and Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Plan. There will be a particular focus on domestic homicides, drug crime and male violence against women and girls.

The PCC will also discuss rural crime issues that local people have raised with him and how Avon and Somerset tackle anti-social behaviour.

“The data from the quarterly performance report provides an opportunity to reflect on the police’s current performance and ask questions regarding what steps are being taken to make necessary improvements for our communities.”
