Police and Crime Plan 2024 – 2029

Help Shape the Future of Policing in Avon and Somerset

The Police and Crime Plan

One of the key responsibilities of the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) is to develop and publish a Police and Crime Plan that sets out the objectives, priorities, and policing needs for Avon and Somerset.

Be part of the conversation on policing priorities and funding

PCC Clare Moody is running a public consultation on her Police and Crime Plan and wants your suggestions on how we achieve the priorities set out in the Plan:

  1. Strengthen neighbourhood policing
  2. Reduce violent crime
  3. Prevent crime
  4. Support victims
  5. Improve standards of policing

The consultation is open until 21 October.

The survey will also been an opportunity to give your opinion on police funding for the coming year.

Your feedback will play a crucial role in shaping the direction of policing in Avon and Somerset.

Public Forums

The PCC is running forums in the five local authority areas to hear your suggestions on how we achieve the priorities set out in the Police and Crime Plan.
