Serious Violence Business and Performance Analyst
Could you help to lead improvement in policing, victim support and criminal justice services on behalf of local people at the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner?
One year fixed term contract, full time
We are looking to recruit a new Serious Violence Business and Performance Analyst to join an innovative and ambitious team to provide strategic analysis as well as operational insight to projects and work streams relating to Serious Violence.
At the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) we are on a mission to listen; lead; challenge; innovate and improve things for people living and working in Avon and Somerset and this interesting and varied role will play a key part.
The Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) has wide ranging responsibilities for setting the priorities and budget of the Constabulary, holding the Chief Constable to account for delivery of the Police and Crime Plan. The PCC also has wider responsibilities across criminal justice and community safety and commissions a wide range of services for both victims and offenders in order to support delivery of the Plan.
As our Serious Violence Business and Performance Analyst you will support performance oversight and evidence led decision making in projects and work streams relating to Serious Violence. The PCC also chairs the regional Reducing Reoffending Board and the role will also support the reducing reoffending work.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have experience of collating, processing and analysing both quantitative and qualitative data. Confident, innovative and flexible, you will have excellent communication skills.
