Police and Crime Survey closes

The Police and Crime Survey has closed today, after running for 12 weeks.

Over the coming weeks, the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) will be analysing the survey responses in order to build a picture of which priorities matter most to the residents of Avon and Somerset.

“I want to personally thank every single person who took the time to fill out the Police and Crime Survey, in all its forms, over the last 12 weeks.

We’ve received a great response and I look forward to hearing which policing issues matter most to residents across Avon and Somerset. Over the coming months, myself and my team will be busy with the next task at hand, the production of my new Police and Crime Plan.”

PCC Mark Shelford

The survey findings will help shape the Police and Crime Plan for the force area. The Plan, which is a legal document, includes various aspects about the policing of the area, how the Chief Constable will be held to account and how the PCC will use the money to deliver an effective and efficient police service and support other services such as victim support providers.
