Are you interested in modern policing, resource issues and reviewing the strategic direction of Avon and Somerset Constabulary?  

Somerset Council is looking for a committed and community-minded person to volunteer as an Independent Member to assist the Police and Crime Panel. The panel is responsible for holding the Police and Crime Commissioner to account, providing scrutiny, support and constructive challenge.
