Police & Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens
Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens addressed one of her key priority areas - violence against women and girls when she visited The Green House project, Bristol on Wednesday, December 12.
The Green House Bristol, formerly known as the Avon Sexual Abuse Centre (ASAC) was set up in 1980, and is a confidential charity providing supportive services to all ages.
They offer a range of specialist professional counselling and therapy services to help people who have experienced the trauma of sexual abuse or sexual violence at any time in their lives.
As well as this, they engage in outreach work in Knowle West, Southmead and Central Bristol and work in partnership with Womankind and Barnardos.
Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens said: “I want to address the issue of violence where it affects anyone in Avon and Somerset but with a particular emphasis on violence towards women and girls."
