PCC support Avon and Somerset Police Cyber Protect Team Webinars

Avon and Somerset Police, Cyber Protect Team, will be facilitating three FREE webinars on Wednesday the 31st of May, for anyone wishing to learn how to protect their account against hacking and ways they can protect their family online.

The Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC), Mark Shelford, who is also the National Economic and Cyber Crime (NECC) lead, supports this brilliant initiative and is encouraging local residents to sign up.


The first MS Teams webinar is on “How to protect against account hacking” and will discuss:

  • What is cybercrime and how you could be targeted
  • Top tips to keep yourself safe online
  • How to identify phishing attempts

This session starts at 1.00pm and will run for an hour.
