Your PCC Your Voice Have Your Say

There is less than one week to have your say on the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Sue Mountstevens first local Plan for policing and crime in your area.

Throughout January and February the Commissioner has been speaking with people gathering their views and hearing their local policing priorities; online, in the post, over the phone and face-to-face.

The PCC has visited the six policing districts of Avon and Somerset meeting hundreds of residents visiting leisure centres, libraries, village halls, PACT meetings and youth clubs across Somerset West and East, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Bristol and Bath and North East Somerset.

Ms Mountstevens said: “It is really important that residents tell me what is important to them so it becomes our Police and Crime Plan.

“It is still not too late for people to have their say on the local policing priorities that matter to them.”

The PCC is continuing to ask people to tweet their policing priorities for #ourplan.

You can still take part in the online consultation for the Plan, please visit http://www.consultation.avonandsomerset.police.uk/aspola/plan-consultation-13-14/consult_view   You can also pick up printed surveys from local libraries or call 01275 816377.

The consultation closes on Friday 22 February 2013.
