Joint Audit Committee (JAC) Reports

The Joint Audit Committee (JAC) is an independent body that plays a key part in the governance and risk management of the Office of Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) and the Office of the Chief Constable.

Public Access

Any member of the public wanting to attend a JAC meeting must submit a written application and secure written agreement of the JAC Chair. Statements and/or intentions to attend must be received no later than 13:00 hours on the working day prior to the meeting and should be emailed to JAC@avonandsomerset.police.uk.

The JAC Chair reserves the right to refuse or suspend access if there is any security risk to the public or a member of the public’s behaviour is disruptive in any manner. A member of the public may only address the meeting, for a maximum of five minutes, where a statement has been previously provided to the JAC Chair and prior sanction has been granted.
