Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens is consulting for her first Police & Crime Plan.
Ms Mountstevens wants the views of residents, community groups, businesses and particularly victims of crime to help shape the Plan that must address the policing and community safety needs of the area.
In her swearing in speech Ms Mountstevens pledged to introduce a Police & Crime Plan for each of the six policing districts of Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset, Somerset West, Somerset East and South Gloucestershire. Each Plan will set out the vision, aims and objectives for the local area for the Police and Crime Commissioner’s time in office.
Ms Mountstevens will be touring each of the six policing districts throughout January 2013 to have face-to-face meetings with residents, community groups, police and local authorities about the district Police & Crime Plans.
