Your PCC Your Voice - PCC Police Public Forum
Want to have your say about policing in South Gloucestershire?
Residents will have the chance to meet two of the top police chiefs in Avon and Somerset on Tuesday, September 3 at Kingswood Civic Centre.
The Public Forum at Kingswood Civic Centre will give people living and working in South Gloucestershire the chance to meet Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens and Chief Constable Nick Gargan and ask them their questions.
Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens said: "I regularly visit South Gloucestershire and I am looking forward to the opportunity of hearing directly from residents on their views on local policing.
“These forums provide the perfect opportunity for me to engage with the local community and find out what they think about how their area is policed. I strongly welcome residents to come along and share their thoughts.”
The session will also include an overview of policing in South Gloucestershire by Chief Superintendent Geoff Spicer and people will get the chance to ask any burning questions.
If you have any questions you’d like to ask you can also email us in advance at email@example.com We recommend that you do this if you have a question that might need some research (ie: regarding a specific issue in your area).
Chief Constable Nick Gargan said: "I’ve met the officers and police staff working to keep South Gloucestershire safe. Now I’m eager to hear what local people think. What’s your view on the service we provide? What do you think our local policing priorities should be?
“Although the forum is being held in Kingswood, we want to hear the views of people from across South Gloucestershire – whether they live in a rural hamlet or new-build estate, urban area or market town. I know not everyone will be able to come along to see us in person, but we’re more than happy to take questions in advance and you’ll be able to watch the session streamed live over the internet"
The Public Forum will be held at the Kingswood Civic Centre between 7pm and 9pm on September 3. To make sure a seat is reserved for you please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01275 816377
We will also be broadcasting live from the Forum and you can view this on the day by visiting www.avonandsomerset-pcc.gov.uk
