Want to have your say about policing in Bristol?
Bristol residents will have the chance to meet two of the top police chiefs in Avon and Somerset on Tuesday, June 25.
The Public Forum at the Cameron Centre, Lockleaze, will give people living and working in the city the chance to meet Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens and Chief Constable Nick Gargan and ask them their questions.
Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens said: "I want to make policing as accessible as possible, giving residents a chance to put their questions openly and directly to me or the Chief Constable.
"I regularly visit Bristol and I am thoroughly looking forward to the opportunity of hearing directly from residents. I am always looking for new opportunities to meet people and find out what they think about how their area is policed."
The session will also include an overview of policing in Bristol by Chief Superintendent Jon Stratford and people will get the chance to ask any burning questions.
If you have any questions you’d like to ask you can also email us in advance at email@example.com We recommend that you do this if you have a question that might need some research (ie: regarding a specific issue in your area).
Chief Constable Nick Gargan said: "I’m really looking forward to the opportunity to meet Bristol residents and find out what they think we’re doing well and where they think we could do better.
"We strive to ensure that the service we provide residents is keeping them safe and feeling secure in their neighbourhoods. Events like this one are a great opportunity to make sure they think we’re doing this."
The Public Forum will be held at the Cameron Centre, Lockleaze between 6pm and 8pm on June 25 and will be attended by the PCC, Chief Constable and the Bristol District Commander Chief Superintendent Jon Stratford.
